Regeneration?

I've read that some guys do things like pull the skin under tension for long periods to get flaps to come back over, but to be honest, this seems like an excessive amount of effort for something which only restores an appearance and not the function, so it doesn't interest me.

I mean honestly... the appearance isn't really that big a deal. It's not ugly or anything... and in terms of protection, it's okay but it really lacks many of the protective mechanisms of it...

Salamanders can regrow limbs. I bet they could regrow these if they had them. I think we should all be promoting research into regeneration, so we can snip off the entire thing, form a blastocyst, and regrow it intact.

That'd of course be SCARY as hell but hey, if not having a foreskin makes you appreciate it more when you finally get one, being without the entire penis for a while would make you appreciate that more too, lol. It's just that, in my research of blastocysts it does seem like you need to make a 'clean break' and our foreskins have healed over so we would need an open wound for a blastocyst to form.

Unfortunately I don't think science is that far...

This kind of research would also help amputees and stuff and influence other fields of medicine. LETS GO FOR IT

Foreskin restoration if for function and apperance

Foreskin restoration does not only provide the apperance of an uncircumcised penis but the functions as well. The main function of the foreskin is the protection of the glands. The penis glands are naturaly very sensitive and need protection from rubbing up against rough surfaces. The foreskin acts as a cover for the glands of the penis and keeps them moist to act as a lubricant durring intercourse. A circumcised penis does not have this covering and as a result the glands of a circumcised penis becomes rough and thick, but more importantly less sensitive. Thus, by a circumcised man restoring his foreskin the glands of his penis head would regain sensitivity and the lubricants of the penis would return.
