Post CircumcisionI am 30 years old and had recently had a circumcision done. I was born with phimosis. Now week 5 into my post circumcision healing, I realized I am left with 3 stitch sinuses. It is not as bad as what some forums have put it to be and it's just a slight pin hole which I am not too concerned about. What I am concerned about is the frenulum that the doctor has left intact. It basically looks like a small pea as the dorsal side of the penis. When my penis is fully erect, it blends in and looks fine, but at its flaccid state, it's quite prominent. I am hoping it will reduce in size with time, but if it desn't, is it normal?

It is normal to be a little embarrassed about a later life circumcision. When I had mine done I didn't want to go back to the doctor to ask any questions either. But I am sure that he would be the best one to answer this one. I also think it would help him to see how it turned out. My doctor was not that good at his job and I am sure that it was because he didn't have much practice or feedback from adults.
As for the flap. In my experience having been circumcised at 21. What you see is what you get. It sounds like you don't like the look of it? Be glad you still have the frenulum (or however it is spelled). I wish I had been more clear with the doctor pre op. It was one of the more sensitive parts of my penis and I would have liked to keep it. Twenty years later I can see how being more open about the subject would have gotten me just what I wanted.
The suture holes may or may not grow out. I had several and after a few months I realized that four or five of them were staying. They will get build up in them and you will have to squish it out like a pimple, or just push a pin through it to clean them out. It is an easy and pretty painless fix. I did it back in 06 I had just put it off because it was not that big of deal and I didn't really want to make a special Dr. appointment for it. Oh, and I think everyone is born with phimosis, it is that most peoples foreskins stretch out (teasing you). Whatever your reasons are I hope everything else turned out the way you were hoping.
