Circumcision query, small glans...?

Hi all, I have phimosis, I know only circumcision is the permanent cure for it. But, I have a big problem, am 21 up, my penis is 1.3 inches when flaccid and 4.5 inches when erect. but, when circumcision is done, i know that part of the foreskin is stitched with the base of the glans, the thing is that when my penis is flaccid am able to feel that only my glans is visible, none of the part of my shaft is visible. Am afraid that I have got a micro penis. Is is possible to do circumcision on my penis?

I had sort of the same

I had sort of the same problem when I was in my 30's. I have a small penis, 2" flaccid, 5.5" erect and had too much foreskin. Even when 110% erect my glans was compleetly covered with plenty left over! My foreskin stayed over the glans even when thrusting during sex.
I decided to get circimcised. I prefer it, my wife prefers it...it looks better, doesn't smell (even 5 mins after showering and washing an uncut dick it still has 'that' smell!).
Because I am so small flaccid being cut doesnt make much diffence. If I knew then what I know now, I would probably have opted for a partial circumcision....enough skin removed to leave the glans uncovered when erect but enough to cover it when flaccid....I guess that would be the best of both worlds!

Circumcision Query

The other guy is right. Talk to a doctor. Urologist. Ask the appointment person if he deals with the issue you are having and make an appointment.

There are a lot of cures for a tight foreskin. Stretching does work.

Your penis is smaller than a lot of men, but it is the same size as a lot of men as well. Micropenis is quite a bit smaller than what you have got. Your flaccid size is a little closer to normal than you may think.

My real point is that you should get your foreskin working and see what you think of it before you decide to have it cut off. Then if you are going for penis surgery and are thinking of having it lengthened you may wish you had some of that extra skin.

You are doing the right thing. Ask around. Find all your options before you make a permanent decision. Dont take your doctors word as law either. They have opinions too. I think you will find that if you are trying to have micropenis treated the surgery will be followed up with a few months of wearing a traction device. It turns out that many men are having the same success with just the traction device and skipping the surgery.

Good luck. Post if you have other questions.

seven times mesure and only one time cut - people's saying

I was circumcised as adult and I lost 75% of my sexual life, think about this.
Life term friend of mine has phimosis but he managed somehow to have full scale sex life.
Talk to doctor, perhaps circ is not the only solution.

Hi,

Why did you lose 75% of your sexual life?
did circumcision go wrong?

I'm soon to be circumcised.. should I think it twice?

hi

i have just been cercumcised on the 5th march due to my frenulum been too short and according to the doctors there was nothing they could do to increase the length of it so i didnt have to have my forskin removed anyway on the 5th march i had it removed and had 2 weeks of pain and soreness and a bit of bleeding coupled with a bit of an infection which is common apparently. now after 2 weeks ive just about healed up and the other day i decided to have sex again which was a bit daunting at first but it felt great as before with the foreskin i couldn't feel much and made my partner sore, so for me having this circumcision done is the best choice i have made yet.
the best thing to do is speak to your doctor about your problem and ask him any questions which i did and im sure he will answer them for you.
